Provide login functionality using MitID or MitID Erhverv in your self-services

If your websites or self-services aim to offer login functionality with MitID or MitID Erhverv, they must integrate with a MitID broker.

Currently, there are 12 approved MitID brokers.

Private organisations

If your organisation is private and does not carry out public authority tasks, you must choose one of the 12 approved brokers:

However, if your organisation is private and carries out public authority tasks, your website or self-service must integrate with NemLog-in as your MitID broker, e.g. technical vendors delivering websites or self-services to public authorities. Please refer to the requirements in the section for public organisations.

Public organisation

If your organisation is public, i.e., a public authority or a body governed by public law, your websites or self-services are required to use NemLog-in as your MitID broker.

It is mandatory to use NemLog-in as the MitID broker if:

  • you use your self-service or website to carry out a public authority task
  • The self-service or website requires secure authentication.
