View the status of orders for MitID code displays, code readers and chips

As a user or organisation administrator, you can view the status of orders for MitID code displays, code audio readers and chips. You can also cancel or re-order as needed. If a code display, code audio reader or chip is faulty, you can order a replacement.

This page is relevant for:

  • user administrator
  • organisation administrator.

The “Order status” menu is only accessible to user and organisation administrators in organisations that have previously placed an order for MitID code displays, code readers or chips.

User or organisation administrators can:

  • view the status of orders for MitID code displays, code readers or chips
  • cancel any orders that have not yet been despatched
  • re‑order any orders that have not arrived within 10 working days
  • order a new MitID code display, code reader or chip as a replacement for a faulty one.

If you do not know which role you have in MitID Erhverv, log in and view your own profile. The roles are listed under “Master data” on your profile.

How to view order status, cancel or re‑order the order

As a user- and organisation administrator you can:

  • view the order status
  • cancel any orders that have not yet been despatched
  • re‑order an order that you have not received within 10 working days.

You find "Order status": Menu > Order status.

The “Order status” menu is only available to user and organisation administrators in organisations that have previously placed an order for MitID code displays, code readers or chips.

Order status is displayed as a list. 

The order status appears as a list, showing, for example:

  • Order date: The day on which your organisation placed the order
  • Order status:
    • Pending shipment
    • Sent for shipment
    • Shipped and the shipping date
    • Cancelled
    • Shipment failed
  • Ordered by: Name of the person in your organisation who placed the order.
  • Order number

Enter keywords in the “Search in orders” box to locate a specific order.

View order details

To view the details of an order, follow the steps below after completing steps 1–3:

The order details will slide out in a panel to the right.

In this panel you’ll find additional information not shown in the summary list, such as:

  • Shipped: The date the order is shipped
  • Customer number
  • CVR number
  • EAN number for organisations in the public sector
  • Authenticator: MitID code display, code audio reader or chip
  • Price (excluding VAT)
  • Delivery to: The delivery address

The cancel and re-order buttons are only tappable when the relevant action is available for that order.

Cancel an order

To cancel an order, follow the steps below after completing steps 1–3:

Select the order you want to view from the list.

The ”Cancel order” button is located. The button is located at the bottom of the order details pane and is only active when the order status shows “Pending shipment”.

When you tap it, the window “Cancel order” will appear.

The order status will be updated, and you will receive an email confirming the cancellation.

Re-order an order

As a user or organisation administrator, you can re-order if your order has not arrived within ten working days of the shipping date.

If delivery failed due to an incorrect address, the order cannot be re-ordered and you will need to place a new order.

To re-order an order, follow the steps below after completing steps 1–3:

The order details will slide out in a panel to the right.

The ”Re-order items” button is located of the order details. It becomes tappable only once ten working days have passed since the date shown under "Shipped".

Once tapped, the window ”The order is not received” appears.

The ”Next” is located at the bottom of the window “The order is not received”.

If the message “Too many re‑orders” appears, please contact MitID Erhverv.

You must tick the box “I accept the terms and conditions” and then press the button “Send order”.

You will be returned to the "Authenticator" menu.

The order status will be updated to "Pending Shipment", and you will receive an email confirming the re-order.

How to order a new MitID code display, audio code reader or chip when you have a faulty one

When your user has a faulty MitID code display, code audio reader or chip, you as a user or organisation administrator can order a replacement.

You may do this within 2 years of the original order.

You find ”Users”: Menu > Users.

The user’s profile will then be displayed.

The menu ”Authenticators” is located under ligger under ”User information”.

Tap the arrow next to the MitID code display, audio code reader or chip to view the details of the faulty authenticator. Tap the “Replace authenticator” link at the bottom.

The window  ” Where should your MitID authenticator be sent?” appears.

The window “Where should your MitID authenticator be sent?” displays the address to which the order will be delivered.

  • If the address is correct, select “Next”.  
  • If the address is incorrect, edit it before select the button.

The “Check order and approve” window then appears.

You must tick the box “I accept the terms and conditions” and then press the button “Approve order”. 

The “Receipt” window appears.

The ”Receipt” window summaries the order. You can close the window by tapping “Close” button. You will be taken back to the “Authenticators” menu.

The status of the faulty MitID code viewer, audio code reader or chip will be changed to “Blocked”. You will receive an e-mail about the replacement order.
